| Product Name | Thermolabile dsDNase (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0481 |
| Description | A double stranded DNA selective endonuclease with almost no activity on single stranded nucleic acids, Thermolabile dsDNase hydrolyses the phosphodiester bonds of duplex DNA to yield oligonucleotides bearing 5 prime phosphate and 3 prime hydroxyl ends. The enzyme is heat labile and inactivates rapidly at 65°C, so it clears genomic DNA contamination ahead of reverse transcription without the extra EDTA step required by classical DNase I protocols, shortening the workflow and safeguarding RNA quantification. It is supplied at 20 U/uL with a purity of at least 99%, and 5 minutes at 37°C digests 1 microgram of genomic DNA. |
| Intended Use | Removal of genomic DNA contamination from RNA samples before reverse transcription |
