| Product Name | T7 Exonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0494 |
| Description | Encoded by gene 6 of bacteriophage T7, this exonuclease acts on double stranded DNA and RNA/DNA hybrid duplexes, cutting in the 5 prime to 3 prime direction from 5 prime phosphorylated or 5 prime hydroxylated nucleotides to release oligonucleotides and mononucleotides. It initiates digestion both from 5 prime termini and from nicks or gaps in duplex DNA or RNA/DNA hybrids, but it does not degrade double or single stranded RNA. These features support seamless cloning, preparation of single stranded DNA templates, construction of random mutation libraries and digestion of uncircularised linear templates. The preparation is free of nickase and RNase residue. |
| Intended Use | Seamless cloning, single stranded DNA template preparation, random mutation library construction and linear template removal |
