| Product Name | T4 RNA Ligase 2 for dsRNA Nick Ligation and Circular RNA Synthesis (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0372 |
| Description | An ATP dependent double stranded RNA ligase with both intermolecular and intramolecular RNA joining activity, T4 RNA Ligase 2 preferentially seals nicks in double stranded RNA rather than joining single stranded RNA ends, and it requires adjacent 5 prime phosphate and 3 prime hydroxyl groups for ligation. The enzyme can also join the 3 prime hydroxyl of RNA to the 5 prime phosphate of DNA within a double stranded context. Typical workflows include sealing dsRNA nicks, constructing RNA-DNA junctions and synthesis of circular RNA. The preparation is free of exonuclease, nickase and RNase contamination. |
