Product Name T4 DNA Ligase for RNA End Labelling and Oligonucleotide Circularisation (5 U/uL)
Catalog No. IVDRM-0499
Description With ATP as coenzyme, this T4 DNA Ligase catalyses phosphodiester bond formation between adjacent 5 prime phosphate and 3 prime hydroxyl termini of double stranded DNA at blunt or cohesive ends, and it can also join RNA strands and single stranded DNA within duplex structures, although it does not ligate fully single stranded nucleic acids. These properties suit labelling of RNA 3 prime ends, circularisation of RNA and DNA oligonucleotides and cloning of cDNA. The preparation shows high ligation efficiency and is free of exonuclease and nickase residue.
