Product Name Specialty Polymer Chromatography Media for Daptomycin, Vancomycin and Fullerene
Catalog No. IGM-HMM-0292
Description Alta DiagnoTech specialty chromatography media are optimized for demanding antibiotic and nanomaterial separations. Options include a porous crosslinked PMMA ion exchanger for daptomycin, monodisperse PS-DVB media for vancomycin, and a 30 µm bonded PS-DVB medium for fullerene purification.
Intended Use Purification of daptomycin, vancomycin and fullerene materials.
Principle / Technology Application-specific ion-exchange, reversed-phase and bonded polymer chromatography.
Performance Range / Specifications For daptomycin, one-step purification raises approximately 80% crude material to above 95%, with purity above 99% after an additional reversed-phase step. Vancomycin media are optimized for high capacity, recovery and impurity removal, while the fullerene-separation medium uses 30 µm particles.
Product Form Specialty polymer chromatography media
Key Features Application-specific selectivity
Rigid polymer matrices
Low backpressure and high operating flow
Solvent-tolerant fullerene separation medium
Product Type Specialty chromatography media series
Function / Efficacy Selective purification of antibiotic and fullerene process streams.
Thermal Stability Strong thermal stability for the fullerene-separation medium
Chromatography Mode Ion exchange, reversed phase or application-specific bonded polymer separation
Matrix Porous crosslinked PMMA for the daptomycin medium; monodisperse PS-DVB for the vancomycin and fullerene media
Particle Size 30 µm for the fullerene-separation medium
Chemical Stability The fullerene-separation medium is compatible with organic solvents and full-pH aqueous solutions, including toluene, o-xylene, methanol, 1 M NaOH and 1 M HCl.
