| Product Name | Snailase Enzyme Mixture for Yeast Cell Wall Disruption |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0547 |
| Description | Prepared from the crop and digestive tract of snails, Snailase is a mixed enzyme preparation containing more than twenty activities including cellulase, pectinase, amylase and protease. It disrupts yeast cell walls with a breakage rate above 90%, which supports cell biology and genetic engineering research, and it also serves as a feed additive to raise feed digestibility and in food processing for juice clarification, orange segment peeling and jam making. After treatment with a sulfhydryl compound, yeast cells suspended in isotonic sorbitol at pH 5.8 to 7.2 dissolve with 30 to 40 mg of enzyme per gram of cells after one hour at 37°C |
| Intended Use | Yeast cell wall disruption for research, feed digestibility improvement and food processing applications |
