| Product Name | SnaBI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0472 |
| Description | Recognising the six base palindrome 5 prime TAC^GTA 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease generates blunt ended fragments and digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA in as little as 5 minutes. The enzyme is supplied at 20 U/uL, runs in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C and is inactivated by incubation at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG methylation overlapping the site blocks cutting, while Dam, Dcm, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation leave activity unchanged. |
| Intended Use | Blunt ended digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA for molecular cloning |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific blunt cleavage at 5 prime TAC^GTA 3 prime within 5 minutes at 37°C |
| Sample Type | Plasmid DNA; PCR products; genomic DNA |
| Specificity | CpG methylation overlapping the site blocks cleavage; unaffected by Dam, Dcm, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Digest in 1x rapid restriction buffer at 37°C for 5 minutes; heat inactivate at 80°C for 20 minutes |
