| Product Name | SmaI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0464 |
| Description | This rapid recombinant endonuclease cuts the GC rich site 5 prime CCC^GGG 3 prime to give blunt ends and digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. Unusually for the series, its optimal incubation temperature is 25°C rather than 37°C, and it operates in the shared rapid buffer with heat inactivation afterwards at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG methylation fully overlapping the site blocks cleavage, and no alternative named isoschizomers are documented. |
