| Product Name | SfiI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0470 |
| Description | Recognising the bipartite asymmetric site 5 prime GGCCNNNN^NGGCC 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease supports plasmid linearisation, vector construction and DNA fragment cloning, digesting plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. Unusually for the series its optimal reaction temperature is 50°C Supplied at 20 U/uL, it runs in the shared rapid buffer. Dcm and CpG methylation affect cleavage at overlapping sequences, and no alternative named isoschizomers are documented. Note that the enzyme cannot be heat inactivated; remove it after digestion by phenol chloroform extraction or column purification. |
