| Description | A type IIS rapid recombinant endonuclease that recognises 5 prime GCTCTTC(N)1 3 prime and cuts one nucleotide downstream of the asymmetric site, SapI suits strategies that need custom overhangs as well as plasmid linearisation. It digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes, is supplied at 10 U/uL and is heat inactivated at 80°C for 20 minutes. BspQI, LguI and PciSI are recognised isoschizomers. |
