| Product Name | RNase GG for RNA Structure Analysis (50 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0543 |
| Description | A recombinant ribonuclease purified from a thermophilic archaeon, RNase GG specifically recognises and cuts GG sites in single or double stranded RNA without touching single or double stranded DNA. The enzyme cuts efficiently at GG sites embedded in secondary structures, which makes it particularly valuable for analysing RNAs with complex folding. It is extremely thermostable, staying active from 37 to 95°C with best activity at 60 to 70°C, and its activity does not depend on metal ions, so it is compatible with most buffers commonly used in RNA research. Digestion runs at 60°C in the dedicated buffer, and the enzyme is inactivated with 1% SDS at 95°C for 3 minutes. |
