Product Name Recombinant Strep-Tag Affinity Ligand Protein
Catalog No. IGM-HMM-0079
Description An engineered streptavidin-derived affinity ligand developed for strong binding to Strep-tag II peptides and preparation of high-performance affinity chromatography media.
Intended Use Coupling to chromatography matrices for purification and capture of Strep-tag II- or Twin Strep-tag II-tagged proteins from prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems.
Principle / Technology Directed engineering increases affinity for Strep-tag II by approximately 100-fold compared with native streptavidin, enabling selective capture of tagged proteins.
Specificity Selective binding to Strep-tag II and Twin Strep-tag II fusion proteins.
Components / Formulation Recombinant engineered streptavidin-based affinity ligand.
Storage Conditions Store at -30 to -15°C. Long-term storage at 2-8°C is not recommended; sterile filtration is advised when refrigerated storage is required.
Shelf Life 3 years when stored as directed. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
