Product Name Recombinant Broad-Spectrum Endonuclease for Nucleic Acid Removal (250-300 U/uL)
Catalog No. IVDRM-0368
Description This non-specific endonuclease, originally derived from Serratia marcescens and engineered for expression in E. coli, cleaves at any inter-nucleotide position and digests nucleic acids completely into 2 to 5 base 5-monophosphate oligonucleotides. It degrades all forms of DNA and RNA, including double stranded, single stranded, linear, circular, native and denatured, even under harsh conditions such as 6 M urea, 0.1 M guanidine hydrochloride, 0.4% Triton X-100, 0.1% SDS, 1 mM EDTA or 1 mM PMSF. Applications include reducing viscosity of cell supernatants and lysates to improve protein purification efficiency, removing nucleic acid from biopharmaceutical products, and preventing clumping of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells in cell therapy and vaccine research.
Intended Use Nucleic acid removal from biopharmaceutical products; viscosity reduction in protein purification; PBMC clumping prevention in cell therapy and vaccine research
