| Product Name | phi29 DNA Polymerase, High Concentration (100 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0573 |
| Description | Derived from a Bacillus subtilis phage and engineered for outstanding strand displacement and processive synthesis capability, this phi29 DNA Polymerase synthesises DNA fragments up to 70 kb. Its strong 3 prime to 5 prime exonuclease proofreading activity gives high fidelity synthesis, and because of that activity primers with modified 3 prime ends are recommended to prevent degradation. Applications include whole genome amplification, rolling circle amplification and multiple displacement amplification, as well as in vitro synthesis of plasmids, and one unit incorporates 0.5 pmol of dNTP into acid-insoluble material in 10 minutes at 30°C |
