| Product Name | PciI Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0531 |
| Description | A type IIP restriction endonuclease from Planococcus citreus produced by recombinant expression in E. coli, PciI recognises and cuts 5 prime A^CATGT 3 prime. The enzyme uses its dedicated Cut Buffer C for fast digestion and is compatible with the shared rapid series buffer for double digestion, although prolonged reactions may show star activity. EcoKI and EcoBI methylation overlapping the site block cleavage, and one unit fully digests 1 microgram of p615 substrate in one hour at 37°C Heat inactivation is achieved at 80°C for 20 minutes. |
| Intended Use | DNA fragment preparation and vector construction for molecular cloning |
| Principle / Technology | Palindromic site specific cleavage at 5 prime A^CATGT 3 prime producing compatible cohesive ends |
| Sample Type | Double stranded DNA containing ACATGT sites |
