| Product Name | OpenCRISPR-1, AI-Designed Cas9-Like Gene Editing Protein (10 mg/mL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0511 |
| Description | OpenCRISPR-1 is a gene editing tool whose core component is a Cas9-like protein constructed from scratch with the help of artificial intelligence. Its amino acid sequence has undergone deep remodeling, with up to 400 mutations relative to the widely occurring SpCas9 and nearly 200 sites of difference from any other known natural CRISPR-associated protein. Despite this extensive divergence, the protein delivers cleavage activity and editing efficiency comparable to Cas9 and specificity of target recognition comparable to or better than SpCas9. The preparation is at least 95% pure and free of exonuclease, nickase and RNase residue, with phosphatase below 0.0001 U, endotoxin below 10 EU per mg, host DNA below 3 ng per mL, host protein below 0.1 ppm and negative mycoplasma testing. |
| Intended Use | Genome editing for site-specific modification and gene function studies in cell editing workflows |
| Principle / Technology | AI-designed Cas9-like protein guided by RNA to cleave target DNA with SpCas9-comparable specificity |
| Sample Type | CD4 positive and CD8 positive T cells and other culture systems for editing |
| Specificity | About 400 mutations versus SpCas9; cleavage and editing efficiency comparable to Cas9 |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Combine with a guide RNA and deliver into the target cells, then assess editing at the locus of interest |
| Storage Conditions | -25 to -15°C |
| Shelf Life | 1 year |
