| Product Name | NotI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0445 |
| Description | Recognising the GC rich octameric site 5 prime GC^GGCCGC 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease is a rare cutter valued for releasing intact inserts from vectors with minimal internal cutting. It rapidly digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes, is supplied at 20 U/uL, and performs in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C with heat inactivation at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG methylation fully overlapping the site blocks cleavage, an important consideration for methylated genomic DNA, and CciNI is the documented isoschizomer. |
| Intended Use | Rapid digestion for molecular cloning where rare cutting preserves large inserts intact |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific cleavage at 5 prime GC^GGCCGC 3 prime within 5 to 15 minutes at 37°C |
