| Product Name | NcoI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0442 |
| Description | Recognising 5 prime C^CATGG 3 prime, a sequence that contains the ATG start codon, this rapid recombinant endonuclease is a frequent choice for expression vector cloning where the ribosome binding context must be preserved. It digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes, is supplied at 20 U/uL, and operates in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C with heat inactivation at 80°C for 20 minutes. Dam, Dcm, CpG, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation all leave activity unchanged, and Bsp19I is the documented isoschizomer. |
| Intended Use | Rapid digestion for expression vector construction and general cloning of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific cleavage at 5 prime C^CATGG 3 prime within 5 to 15 minutes at 37°C |
