| Description | A glycerol-free format of the recombinant murine RNase inhibitor expressed in soluble form in E. coli, which inactivates ribonucleases by non-covalent complex formation and broadly inhibits RNase A, RNase B and RNase C. Like the parent product it lacks the two oxidation-sensitive cysteines of the human inhibitor, giving higher antioxidant activity and suiting high DTT sensitive assays such as qPCR, and RT-PCR and RT-qPCR testing confirms compatibility with reverse transcriptases and various DNA polymerases. The formulation contains no glycerol and can be lyophilised, which suits diagnostic reagent development, and it is stored at 2 to 8°C with a 6 month shelf life. |
