Product Name Murine RNase Inhibitor (40 U/uL)
Catalog No. IVDRM-0559
Description A recombinant murine RNase inhibitor expressed and purified in soluble form from E. coli, this protein specifically inactivates ribonucleases by binding them non-covalently into an inactive complex and broadly inhibits RNase A, RNase B and RNase C. Compared with the human inhibitor it lacks the two oxidation-sensitive cysteines of the human protein, giving higher antioxidant activity, and its low sensitivity to DTT suits high DTT sensitive assays such as qPCR. RT-PCR and RT-qPCR testing confirm compatibility with reverse transcriptases and various DNA polymerases, with no effect on SP6, T7 and T3 RNA polymerases, AMV and M-MLV reverse transcriptases and Taq DNA polymerase. The enzyme stays active from 25 to 60°C across pH 5.0 to 9.0.
Intended Use RNase protection in first-strand cDNA synthesis, polysome isolation, in vitro transcription and cell-free translation
