| Product Name | MunI (MfeI) Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0438 |
| Description | Recognising 5 prime C^AATTG 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease supports molecular cloning, vector construction and plasmid linearisation with digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA in 5 to 15 minutes. The site generates EcoRI compatible cohesive ends, easing adapter strategy design in multi enzyme cloning schemes. Supplied at 20 U/uL, it operates in the unified rapid series buffer at 37°C Dam, Dcm, CpG, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation have no effect, and MfeI is the documented isoschizomer. Note that the enzyme cannot be heat inactivated; use phenol chloroform extraction or column purification to remove it after digestion. |
