| Product Name | MspI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0437 |
| Description | Cutting the same 5 prime C^CGG 3 prime site as HpaII but insensitive to CpG methylation, this rapid recombinant endonuclease is the methylation tolerant half of the classic HpaII-MspI analysis pair, since Dam, Dcm, CpG, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation all leave its activity unchanged. It supports gene cloning, recombinant vector construction and plasmid linearisation with digestion completed in 5 to 15 minutes. Supplied at 10 U/uL, it runs in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C Note that the enzyme cannot be heat inactivated; remove it after digestion by phenol chloroform extraction or column purification. The isoschizomers HpaII, HapII and BsiSI share the specificity. |
