| Product Name | MboI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (5 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0440 |
| Description | Targeting 5 prime ^GATC 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease is blocked by Dam methylation fully overlapping the site and may also be hindered by EcoBI methylation, so it selectively digests unmethylated GATC sequences, complementing DpnI which cuts only the methylated form. It digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes, is supplied at 5 U/uL, and runs in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C with heat inactivation at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG methylation influences cutting while Dcm and EcoKI are tolerated, and the isoschizomers include Bsp143I, Kzo9I, BssMI, DpnII, BstMBI, NdeII and Sau3AI. |
| Intended Use | DNA fragment preparation with selective digestion of unmethylated GATC sites |
