| Product Name | Luminol monosodium salt with CAS 20666-12-0 99% purity for chemiluminescent DNA sequencing |
| Catalog No. | IGM-HMM-0206 |
| Description | Luminol monosodium salt is an organic compound with the molecular formula C14H10N4Na2O2. It is a highly sensitive chemiluminescent reagent commonly used in chemiluminescent immunoassays and chemiluminescent DNA sequencing. Under appropriate excitation conditions, it undergoes a chemiluminescent reaction that offers high sensitivity, excellent stability, and a wide linear range. |
| Intended Use | Chemiluminescent reagent for immunoassays and DNA sequencing applications. |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | pH: The acidity or alkalinity of the reaction solution is a key factor influencing the reaction. Luminol monosodium salt exhibits good luminescent performance under neutral or slightly acidic conditions, while excessively acidic or alkaline environments weaken the emission. An appropriate acid–base buffer system should therefore be selected to maintain a neutral or slightly acidic reaction solution. Temperature: The chemiluminescent reaction should be carried out at a suitable temperature, generally at or slightly above room temperature, to achieve optimal light emission. Catalyst: A catalyst is typically required. Commonly used catalysts include peroxides and metal ions, which accelerate the reaction rate and improve overall efficiency. Excitation light source: External illumination is required. Ultraviolet or visible light is commonly used, and the wavelength and intensity of the excitation source affect both luminescent performance and stability. Reaction medium: The reaction is generally performed in a buffer such as Tris buffer or PBS. Different buffers influence luminescent performance and stability, so selecting a suitable buffer provides a stable reaction environment and a reliable light signal. |
