| Product Name | Low-dsRNA T7 RNA Polymerase for In Vitro Transcription (250 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0357 |
| Description | This polymerase starts from the wild-type phage T7 enzyme and carries engineered mutations that sharply suppress the double-stranded RNA byproduct formed during in vitro transcription. Transcripts made with it keep capping rates above 99%, tolerate cap analog inputs as low as 2.5 mM and sustain production above 9 mg/mL, which materially improves the economics of mRNA preparation. As with the parental enzyme, linear plasmid or PCR DNA carrying a T7 promoter serves as template and NTPs are the substrates. Supplied as a 250 U/uL liquid for research use. |
| Intended Use | In vitro transcription where minimal dsRNA content matters, including mRNA preparation for capping-sensitive downstream workflows. |
| Specificity | dsRNA byproduct reduced at least 10-fold; capping rate above 99%; cap analog input down to 2.5 mM; yield stable above 9 mg/mL |
| Storage Conditions | -25 °C to -15 °C |
| Shelf Life | 12 months |
