Product Name Human Fibronectin Coating Solution, 1 mg/mL
Catalog No. ATR-CCR-0018
Description Purified human plasma fibronectin at 1 mg/mL in a sterile solution for coating tissue culture surfaces to promote attachment and spreading of anchorage-dependent cells, particularly primary cells and stem cells.
Intended Use Coating tissue culture plastic and glass surfaces to enhance cell adhesion; improving attachment and spreading of primary cells, endothelial cells, and mesenchymal stem cells; supporting cell migration studies.
Principle / Technology Fibronectin contains RGD peptide motifs recognized by integrin receptors on the cell surface; binding triggers focal adhesion formation and actin cytoskeleton reorganization, promoting cell spreading and survival signaling.
Detection Method Cell attachment rate measurement, cell spreading area quantification by microscopy
Sample Type Primary human cells, endothelial cells (HUVEC), mesenchymal stem cells, epithelial cells, fibroblasts
Performance Range / Specifications Optimal coating concentration 1–5 µg/cm²; >90% cell attachment with 30–60 minute incubation
Sensitivity / LOD N/A
Specificity N/A
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Dilute in sterile PBS to desired coating concentration; add to tissue culture surface; incubate 1–2 hours at 37°C or overnight at 4°C; aspirate remaining solution; rinse with PBS; use immediately.
Components / Formulation Human plasma fibronectin 1 mg/mL in PBS with 10% glycerol, sterile-filtered
Storage Conditions -20°C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles
Shelf Life 12 months at -20°C
Package Specifications 1 mg (1 mL), 5 mg (5 mL)
Product Form Liquid, sterile
Quality Control Purity by SDS-PAGE >95%, biological activity by cell attachment assay, sterility, endotoxin
Key Features Human plasma derived; RGD-mediated cell adhesion; sterile; validated for primary cell attachment; compatible with most cell types
