| Product Name | Hotstart Taq DNA Polymerase for Multiplex and High-Sensitivity PCR (5 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0506 |
| Description | An antibody-blocked thermostable mutant Taq DNA Polymerase whose activity stays suppressed even at 60°C and is released only after heating to 95°C, preventing the non-specific amplification and primer dimer formation that otherwise arise during sample preparation and reaction heating. Like wild type Taq DNA polymerase it carries 5 prime to 3 prime polymerase and 5 prime to 3 prime exonuclease activities but lacks 3 prime to 5 prime exonuclease activity. These properties suit high-sensitivity nucleic acid amplification and simultaneous amplification of multiple targets in one reaction. |
| Intended Use | High-sensitivity PCR and multiplex amplification of several targets in one reaction |
| Principle / Technology | Antibody blocked hot-start mutant Taq polymerase released on heating to 95°C |
