| Product Name | HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase, Antibody-Modified Wild Type (5 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0564 |
| Description | A mixture of a high affinity Taq monoclonal antibody and a thermostable recombinant wild-type Taq DNA polymerase with strong template affinity. The antibody keeps the polymerase blocked even after 30 minutes at 50°C, and heating for 30 seconds at the pre-denaturation temperature fully releases the DNA polymerase activity, so amplification caused by non-specific primer annealing during reaction setup and heating is effectively suppressed. Like the parent enzyme it carries 5 prime to 3 prime polymerase and exonuclease activities without proofreading, and the 3 prime adenosine overhangs of its products allow direct cloning into T-vectors. The linear detection range spans ten to the seventh down to ten to the third copies, supporting hot-start PCR, qPCR, multiplex amplification and low copy template detection. |
