| Description | A high concentration glycerol-free format of the antibody-blocked hot-start J-Taq DNA Polymerase, offering good amplification sensitivity and specificity. Heating for 30 seconds at the pre-denaturation temperature fully inactivates the blocking antibody and releases the DNA polymerase activity, and the hot-start behaviour effectively suppresses amplification from non-specific primer annealing. The enzyme suits in-situ freeze drying and freeze-dried microchip formats with diverse product presentations, and it is stored at 2 to 8°C with a 2 year shelf life. |
