| Product Name | Hotstart E-Taq DNA Polymerase, Ultra-Low Residual (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0504 |
| Description | A hot-start DNA polymerase blocked by two proprietary monoclonal antibodies that shut down both the 5 prime to 3 prime polymerase activity and the 5 prime to 3 prime exonuclease activity. Heating for 30 seconds at pre-denaturation temperature fully releases both activities. The double blocking design prevents non-specific amplification caused by mismatches or primer dimers and suppresses the fluorescence signal drop that probe degradation would otherwise cause, keeping in vitro detection assays stable during transport and room temperature use. An ultra-low residual production process keeps nuclease and host genomic DNA residue extremely low, below 0.02 copies per 100 U, and with an optimised buffer system the enzyme supports qPCR systems in which primers and probes are pre-mixed in advance. |
| Intended Use | Development of probe-based qPCR and IVD molecular diagnostic systems with primers and probes pre-mixed in advance |
| Principle / Technology | Dual antibody blocked hot-start Taq polymerase released at pre-denaturation, with both polymerase and exonuclease activities restored on heating |
