Product Name Hotstart E-Taq DNA Polymerase (5 U/uL)
Catalog No. IVDRM-0563
Description A dual-blocked hot-start Taq DNA polymerase developed through rational design and directed evolution of DNA polymerases, with advantageous mutants obtained by site mutagenesis, random mutagenesis screening, stress testing and enzyme fragment recombination. A proprietary antibody blocks both the 5 prime to 3 prime polymerase activity and the 5 prime to 3 prime exonuclease activity, and heating for 30 seconds at the pre-denaturation temperature fully releases both activities. The double blocking design prevents non-specific amplification from mismatches or primer dimers and suppresses the fluorescence signal drop caused by probe degradation. Amplification efficiency reaches 99% from five million down to 50 copies per reaction with R2 of 0.99, the detection limit is 5 copies per reaction, and a fully pre-mixed qPCR system tolerates 14 days at 37°C and 50 freeze-thaw cycles.
Intended Use Low copy gene detection from complex genomic or cDNA templates and multiplex qPCR such as four-plex respiratory targets
