| Product Name | Heat-Labile dsDNase with RNase Inhibitor for Genomic DNA Removal |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0480 |
| Description | An endonuclease that cleaves the phosphodiester backbone of DNA to give oligonucleotides with 5 prime phosphate and 3 prime hydroxyl ends, this dsDNase digests double stranded DNA specifically and leaves single stranded DNA, primers, probes and RNA untouched. Because the enzyme is heat labile it is inactivated rapidly at 65°C, so removal of genomic DNA contamination before reverse transcription needs no separate EDTA step, saving time compared with classical DNase I treatment and helping to keep RNA quantification accurate. The formulation is supplied together with an RNase inhibitor. |
