| Description | This recombinant phage T7 RNA polymerase, produced in E. coli, transcribes RNA from any double-stranded DNA that carries the T7 promoter sequence, with NTPs as building blocks. Linear plasmids and PCR products with blunt or 5-prime overhanging ends both serve as templates, so 20-10,000 nt transcripts are readily accessible; 1 ug of template typically yields 100-200 ug of RNA. The preparation is free of detectable endonuclease, exonuclease and RNase activities and is manufactured under GMP regulations, supplied as a liquid at 50 U/uL. |
