| Product Name | GMP-Grade mRNA Cap 2′-O-Methyltransferase (50 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0347 |
| Description | A recombinant vaccinia virus protein expressed in E. coli, this methyltransferase adds a methyl group at the 2′-O position of the first nucleotide beside the cap on the 5′ end of RNA. Drawing on SAM as the methyl donor, it converts m7GpppN-capped RNA into the Cap1 architecture that raises translation efficiency and improves expression in mRNA transfection and microinjection experiments. Manufactured under GMP process requirements and supplied as a liquid. |
| Intended Use | Cap1 modification of mRNA for vaccine and drug development; enhancement of mRNA translation efficiency in transfection and microinjection workflows. |
| Specificity | Requires m7GpppN-capped RNA as substrate; SAM serves as methyl donor |
| Storage Conditions | -25 °C to -15 °C |
