| Product Name | GMP-Grade Inorganic Pyrophosphatase (0.1 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0362 |
| Description | Recombinantly expressed in E. coli, this GMP-grade pyrophosphatase splits inorganic pyrophosphate into two phosphate ions, an exergonic hydrolysis that can be coupled to reactions that would otherwise stall, and in transcription systems it relieves pyrophosphate accumulation to raise mRNA output. One unit releases a micromole of phosphate per minute under the standard 500 uL assay at 25 °C. Manufactured to GMP process requirements and supplied as a liquid at 0.1 U/uL, it stores for twelve months at -25 °C to -15 °C. |
| Intended Use | Yield enhancement in in vitro transcription for mRNA manufacturing; pyrophosphate removal in coupled enzymatic assays and reverse transcription. |
| Specificity | Catalyses hydrolysis of PPi to orthophosphate; optimum temperature 25 °C; unit defined as 1 umol Pi per minute |
| Storage Conditions | -25 °C to -15 °C |
| Shelf Life | 12 months |
