| Product Name | GMP-Grade Deoxyribonuclease I (DNase I) for RNA Sample Processing (2 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0346 |
| Description | This endonuclease digests single-stranded and double-stranded DNA as well as chromatin and DNA-RNA hybrid strands, hydrolysing phosphodiester bonds into single and oligomeric deoxynucleotides carrying 5′ phosphate and 3′ hydroxyl ends. Activity depends on calcium and responds to cobalt, manganese or zinc ions: with Mg2+ present the enzyme cuts double-stranded DNA at random sites, while Mn2+ drives cleavage of both strands at the same position to leave blunt or 1 to 2 nucleotide overhangs. RNase-free and DNA-specific with no effect on RNA, it clears DNA templates from in vitro transcription products and RNA preparations, and it is produced under GMP process requirements as a liquid. |
| Intended Use | Removal of template DNA after in vitro transcription; DNA clearance from RNA samples during mRNA manufacturing; general RNA sample processing. |
| Specificity | Specific for DNA with no effect on RNA; free of RNase residual; pH optimum 7 to 8; optimal temperature 37 °C |
| Storage Conditions | -25 °C to -15 °C |
