| Product Name | GMP-Grade BspQI Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0361 |
| Description | Encoded by the BspQI gene of Bacillus sphaericus and expressed recombinantly in E. coli, this type II restriction enzyme recognises the sequence 5-prime-GCTCTTC N1/N4 and cleaves nearby to leave specific sticky ends. Cutting plasmid DNA with it generates linearised fragments with any of the four bases at the termini, the standard preparation step before in vitro transcription templates are built. The enzyme works at 50 °C, is heat-inactivated at 80 °C, shows little star activity and is produced under GMP process requirements without animal-derived components; drug master file filing and ISO 13485 management back the quality system. |
| Intended Use | Linearisation of plasmid DNA for in vitro transcription templates; molecular cloning applications requiring specific cohesive ends. |
| Specificity | Recognition sequence 5-prime-GCTCTTC N1/N4-3-prime; reaction at 50 °C; inactivation at 80 °C; low star activity; animal-origin-free |
| Storage Conditions | -25 °C to -15 °C |
