Description A sterile 100-fold concentrated solution of the dipeptide L-alanyl-L-glutamine as a stable alternative to L-glutamine, providing equal nutritional benefit without the accumulation of neurotoxic ammonia in long-term cell culture.
Intended Use Replacement for L-glutamine in cell culture media, providing a stable glutamine source that does not degrade spontaneously and accumulates less cytotoxic ammonia, suitable for extended culture and high-density bioprocessing.
Principle / Technology The dipeptide L-alanyl-L-glutamine is resistant to spontaneous degradation and thermal decomposition during storage; cells sequentially cleave the dipeptide through cell-surface aminopeptidases, releasing glutamine on demand at the cell membrane.
Detection Method Ammonia concentration measurement in culture supernatant, cell growth comparison with free L-glutamine
