Product Name Fast Restriction Enzyme DraIII (Recognition Site: CACNNN/GTG)
Catalog No. IVDRM-0035
Description This fast restriction enzyme DraIII is a recombinant enzyme produced by genetic engineering that completes precise DNA cleavage within 5–15 minutes. It is well suited for rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA. A single universal digestion buffer is shared across the fast enzyme series, greatly simplifying reaction setup. With generous activity redundancy, the enzyme readily handles excess substrate and difficult templates.
Intended Use Rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA in molecular cloning and molecular biology workflows.
Principle / Technology DraIII is a type II restriction endonuclease that recognizes the degenerate sequence 5'-CAC(N)3/GTG-3' and cleaves double-stranded DNA at defined positions for downstream cloning and analysis.
Sample Type Plasmid DNA, PCR products, genomic DNA.
Performance Range / Specifications Complete digestion within 5–15 minutes; good activity redundancy allows digestion of excess substrate or difficult templates.
Specificity Recognizes and cleaves at 5'-CAC(N)3↓GTG-3' / 3'-GTG↑(N)3CAC-5'.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol 1× universal fast digestion buffer; incubate at 37°C.
