Product Name Fast Restriction Enzyme DdeI (Recognition Site: C/TNAG)
Catalog No. IVDRM-0034
Description This fast restriction enzyme DdeI is a recombinant enzyme produced by genetic engineering that completes precise DNA cleavage within 5–15 minutes. It is well suited for rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA. A single universal digestion buffer is shared across the fast enzyme series, greatly simplifying reaction setup. With generous activity redundancy, the enzyme readily handles excess substrate and difficult templates.
Intended Use Rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA in molecular cloning and molecular biology workflows.
Principle / Technology DdeI is a type II restriction endonuclease that recognizes the palindromic sequence 5'-C/TNAG-3' and cleaves DNA at defined positions, generating fragments with compatible termini for downstream cloning and analysis.
Sample Type Plasmid DNA, PCR products, genomic DNA.
Performance Range / Specifications Complete digestion within 5–15 minutes; good activity redundancy allows digestion of excess substrate or difficult templates.
