| Product Name | Endonuclease VIII (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0496 |
| Description | A DNA repair enzyme carrying both N-glycosylase and AP lyase activities, Endonuclease VIII releases damaged pyrimidine bases from duplex DNA through its glycosylase action to create an AP site, and its lyase activity then cuts the phosphodiester bonds on both sides of that site to leave a gap bounded by 5 prime and 3 prime phosphates. Lesions recognised include urea, 5,6-dihydroxythymine, thymine glycol, 5-hydroxy-5-methylhydantoin, uracil glycol, 6-hydroxy-5,6-dihydrothymine and methyltartronylurea. It supports single cell gel electrophoresis, DNA damage repair in NGS library preparation, strand release during enzymatic DNA synthesis, alkaline elution, and cloning of DNA fragments carrying uracil together with UDG. The high purity preparation is free of exonuclease, endonuclease and RNase residue. |
