| Product Name | EarI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0416 |
| Description | Recognising the asymmetric site 5 prime CTCTTC(N)1^ 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease cuts outside its recognition sequence, supporting recombinant vector construction, plasmid linearisation and general molecular cloning. It digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes, is supplied at 20 U/uL, and operates in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C with heat inactivation at 80°C for 20 minutes. CpG methylation influences cutting, and Eam1104I and Bst6I are documented isoschizomers. |
| Intended Use | Recombinant vector construction, plasmid linearisation and molecular cloning with distal cleavage |
