| Product Name | DraIII Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (20 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0409 |
| Description | This rapid recombinant endonuclease recognises the bipartite sequence 5 prime CAC(N)3^GTG 3 prime and supports molecular cloning and vector construction with DNA fragment assembly. It digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA in 5 to 15 minutes, is supplied at 20 U/uL, and runs in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C CpG and EcoKI methylation influence cleavage, EcoBI methylation blocks it, and Dam and Dcm methylation are tolerated. Note that the enzyme cannot be heat inactivated; remove it after digestion by phenol chloroform extraction or column purification. The isoschizomer AdeI shares the same specificity. |
| Intended Use | Molecular cloning and vector construction with rapid bipartite site digestion |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific cleavage at 5 prime CAC(N)3^GTG 3 prime within 5 to 15 minutes at 37°C |
| Specificity | CpG and EcoKI methylation affect cleavage; EcoBI methylation blocks cleavage; Dam and Dcm have no effect; isoschizomer AdeI |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Digest in 1x rapid restriction buffer at 37°C for 5 to 15 minutes; not heat inactivatable, remove enzyme by phenol chloroform extraction or column purification |
| Storage Conditions | -25 to -15°C |
