| Product Name | DpnII Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (50 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0405 |
| Description | Recognising 5 prime ^GATC 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease digests plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. Dam methylation fully overlapping the site blocks cleavage, as may EcoBI methylation, so DNA from Dam positive Escherichia coli resists cutting, a property often exploited to select against methylated plasmid background in mutagenesis workflows. The enzyme is supplied at a high concentration of 50 U/uL, operates in the shared rapid series buffer at 37°C, and is heat inactivated at 80°C for 20 minutes. BfuCI, MboI, Sau3AI, BscFI, Bsp143I, BssMI, BstENII, BstMBI, Kzo9I and NdeII are listed isoschizomers. This unit stores at -20°C and ships with ice packs. |
