| Principle / Technology | Chylomicrons, LDL and VLDL are masked by a polyanion and reaction inhibitor. HDL cholesterol then reacts with surfactant, accelerator and cholesterol enzymes in a Trinder color reaction; absorbance is proportional to HDL-C concentration. |
