| Description | Recognising the degenerate sequence 5 prime C^TNAG 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease handles plasmid linearisation, vector construction and general digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. Supplied at 10 U/uL, it operates in the unified rapid series buffer at 37°C and is inactivated by heating at 80°C for 20 minutes. EcoBI methylation obstructs cleavage at overlapping sites while Dam, Dcm, CpG and EcoKI methylation leave activity unchanged, and BstDEI and HpyF3I are documented isoschizomers. |
