| Product Name | Cytosine |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0214 |
| Description | Cytosine (abbreviated as C) is one of the principal nitrogenous bases of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). In plant DNA, small amounts of 5-methylcytosine are also present in addition to cytosine. In the DNA double helix, cytosine on one strand pairs with guanine on the complementary strand, forming three intermolecular hydrogen bonds; these hydrogen bonds between complementary base pairs are a major force stabilizing the DNA double helix. |
