Product Name Cas9 Nuclease, Codon-Optimized with NLS, from Streptococcus pyogenes
Catalog No. IVDRM-0410
Description Sourced from wild type Streptococcus pyogenes, this RNA guided endonuclease specifically cleaves double stranded DNA and, in the presence of a PAM, can also cut single stranded DNA or RNA. The cut falls inside the target sequence, three bases from the NGG PAM region. Codon optimisation and nuclear localisation signal design deliver high editing efficiency, and recombinant expression in Escherichia coli supports reproducible supply. Applications cover gene modification of haematopoietic stem cells, T cells and other cell types as well as molecular diagnostics for pathogen detection.
Intended Use CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing of haematopoietic stem cells, T cells and other cells; molecular diagnostics and pathogen detection
Principle / Technology RNA guided endonucleolytic cleavage of double stranded DNA three bases upstream of the NGG PAM
