| Product Name | BspQI Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0528 |
| Description | A type IIS restriction enzyme produced as a recombinant protein from the BspQI gene of Bacillus sphaericus expressed in E. coli, BspQI recognises 5 prime GCTCTTC(N)1/(N)4 3 prime and cuts downstream of the site. Its main use is digestion of plasmid DNA to prepare linearised templates ending in poly(A/T/G/C) for in vitro transcription, yielding defined sticky ends. The enzyme runs in Digestion Buffer 3, sold separately, at 50°C and is heat inactivated at 80°C for 20 minutes. Methylation of the substrate has no effect on cutting. |
| Intended Use | Plasmid linearisation for in vitro transcription templates with poly(A/T/G/C) ends |
| Principle / Technology | Type IIS cleavage one and four bases away from the 5 prime GCTCTTC(N)1/(N)4 3 prime site |
| Sample Type | Plasmid DNA for linearisation ahead of in vitro transcription |
