| Product Name | BsmI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0397 |
| Description | This engineered rapid endonuclease recognises 5 prime GAATGC N^ 3 prime and cleaves plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes. Supplied at 10 U/uL, it runs in the single buffer shared by the whole rapid series at 37°C, and heat inactivation takes 20 minutes at 80°C EcoBI methylation overlapping the sequence may obstruct cutting, and the specificity is shared by the isoschizomers BsaMI, Mva1269I and PctI. |
| Intended Use | Rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA for molecular cloning |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific cleavage at 5 prime GAATGC(N)^ 3 prime within 5 to 15 minutes at 37°C |
| Specificity | EcoBI methylation may block cleavage; isoschizomers BsaMI, Mva1269I and PctI |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Digest in 1x rapid restriction buffer at 37°C for 5 to 15 minutes; heat inactivate at 80°C for 20 minutes |
